Shipping & Handling Charges - Electrode Store
The Electrode Store ships 94% of all orders the same day they are received.
Shipping and handling charges are established based on a number of factors, including:
- The distance from the point of shipping
- The weight of the package
- The speed of delivery required
For example, shipments of less than two pounds to destinations within the continental United States scheduled for delivery five to seven days from the date of shipment are charged $12.50. A package weighing more, or requiring expedited delivery, would cost more depending on the region. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico may be slightly more. Federal Express is our preferred carrier for most shipments. Domestic shipments received before 2:30 will be processed that day.
International shipments are processed the same way, with the added flexibility of being able to select the preferred carrier, including parcel post, DHL, or United Parcel Service. International orders received before 2:00pm (Pacific Time) will be processed that day. Delivery times vary depending on the shipping method, the distance and customs procedures.
Shipping charges are usually prepaid and added to the invoice, but may be shipped using the customer’s shipping account number if provided at the time of the order. Invoices are mailed the day after shipping.
