The Electrode Store would like to thank and recognize our former owners, Tim and Camille Cooke, for their years of service in the business and for their patriotic, enterprising service to our country and community. However, we wish the business transition could have been under happier circumstances. Many customers, suppliers, and friends of The Electrode Store have already heard this, but for those of you that have not, please read on.…
“Thanks and Aloha to our customers, suppliers, and employees, many of whom became friends over the years. As some of you know, for many years Camille and I planned on retiring to Hawaii. I am continuing with those plans to the best of my ability. We have a home on the Kona Coast with bananas, limes, lemons, pineapple, mango, and avocado trees, and I look forward to spending many years enjoying their bounty. I am currently on the list of history lecturers for the University of Hawaii – West Hawaii campus. I may teach on a more active basis, but my interests have been tending toward writing a series of books exploring the ideological origins of the United States, focusing on the Colonial period through the American Revolution. I have also recently been asked to sit on the board of Camulus Group, a global response Think Tank exploring solutions in complex arenas through research and analysis focused on history and its effects. Finally, with a couple of colleagues I am also exploring the use of modern technology to resolve some defense and aerospace issues.
I look forward to seeing many of you this October at the upcoming American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation meeting in Boston, and the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine meeting in Honolulu. I will be happy to introduce the new owner of The Electrode Store to everyone attending those meetings, and know you will share my confidence in his ability to continue our commitment to providing quality and value to the electrodiagnostic community.”
Tim Cooke; August 2015.
