Careers at The Electrode Store
Impulse Medical Technologies Inc. (otherwise known as “The Electrode Store”), is a small manufacturer and distributor of medical devices (needle electrodes and related supplies). We are FDA-approved and ISO 13485 certified, have a CE Mark (Europe), and are licensed in Canada and other countries. We are located one hour from Seattle in a small, rural community near the foothills of Mt. Rainier in scenic Washington state.
We pride ourselves in our family-friendly work environment, our high-quality and safe products, and in the teamwork, cooperation, knowledge and trust within our team. Our company values are integrity, honesty, respect, dignity, communication, quality, technology, innovation, long-term relationships, and good customer service. Employment benefits include paid health insurance (medical and vision plan only; no dental at this time), generous paid and unpaid time-off (vacation, personal/sick time, holidays), and excellent work/life balance. Our desire is to grow the company through new products and increased sales – both inside and outside the United States – so we invite you to come grow with us, if any of the jobs below are a good fit.
We currently have openings for the following position(s):
- Quality and Regulatory Manager. Actively lead all aspects of our quality management system (documentation, procedures, record-keeping, audits, corrective actions); manage all regulatory affairs including those associated with new product development, device manufacturing, certification, and registering our products internationally; and provide statistical, risk-based support of production, quality assurance, product management, sales and distribution activities. Must have at least 7 years medical device quality and regulatory experience.
- Manufacturing Assembler. These are typically entry-level electro-mechanical assembly positions where you would be assembling medical devices in a controlled clean-room environment. Candidates with specific experience in the high-volume manual assembly of small metal and plastic components – or of medical devices – may be given special consideration. We may have you go through one of our partner temporary employment agencies for an initial period of up to several months prior to the decision to hire you as a direct company employee.
We may periodically have job openings in other areas including engineering, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, inside sales (telephone sales), or other areas.
